“Jewish education of our children will make them better Americans,” Judge Jonah J. Goldstein said last night, addressing a dinner tendered him by the Jewish Education Committee of New York. Judge Goldstein was honored for his “many years of service to Jewish religious education.”
Other speakers at the dinner included Samuel S. Schneierson, president of the Jewish Education Committee, Harry H. Liebovitz, chairman of its board, Bernard Semel, secretary; and Dr. A. L. Sacher, national director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation.
