Judge Rifkind Confers with Military Authorities on Conditions in Jewish D.p. Camps

Judge Simon H. Rifkind, who is here as a special adviser on Jewish affairs to General Eisenhower, is leaving shortly for a tour of the camps where Jews are quartered, following discussions with military authorities.

David Ben Gurion, chairman of the executive of the Jewish Agency, addressing a Jewish meeting here, declared that the demand for the opening of Palestine to Jews must be presented to the world in an even more emphatic manner than heretofore. Ben Gurion discussed problems of emigration today with local Jewish leaders.
