Speakers representing the junior division of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities will meet a team from the junior group of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies in an annual debate to be held tonight in the Warner ballroom of the Hebrew Orphan Asyhim, 137th street and Amsterdam avenue. The subject is “Resolved, that the Medical Profession Be Socialized.”
Brooklyn speakers will include Irving Leavitt, Jack Dinkes, Harry Silverman, and Stuart Miller. The Manhattan team will be composed of Oscar Merber, Carl Hauptman, Jules Tilles and S. Martin Adelman. Dr. A. A. Berg of Mr. Sinai Hospital is chairman of the meeting.
DRIVE TO AID REFUGEE TOTS
A call for volunteers to aid in the drive to settle German Jewish refugee children in Palestine was issued last night at an organization meeting of the West Bronx section of the Keren Hayesod by Solomon J. Weinstein, chairman.
