The urgency on the part of Jewish young people of America to pool their energies to “fight for democracy” and to promote Zionism as part of that program were stressed by four speakers during a panel discussion yesterday at the fifteenth annual convention of Junior Hadassah at the Hotel William Penn. The discussion was a forerunner of a nationwide education program to be launched by the 222 units of the organization immediately after the conference, which ended today. The new study plan calls for an examination of current social philosophies as they affect Jewish life the world over.
