Karl Fuersten-berg, leading Jewish banker, died here today at the age of eighty-three.

Herr Fuerstenberg left the Jewish Community in 1929 as a protest against the refusal of the praesidium of the Kehillah to reduce his Kehillah tax, which was in the amount of 120,000 marks.
