West Berlin’s Lord Mayor Karl Schuetz was to arrive in Israel today for a four-day visit. He will be the highest ranking German to visit Israel to date. Schuetz is currently president of the Bandesrat, West Germany’s upper house, and ranks second to the President of the Federal Republic.
