Kazakhstan is interested in cooperating with Israel to fight terrorism, visiting President Nursultan Nazarbayev said. The leader of the former Soviet republic added that the most serious threat to Kazakhstan comes from Islamic fundamentalists, who have been active in Chechnya and Afghanistan.
