An explanation of the destruction of the wall adjacent to the Wailing Wall, complained of by the Jewish community in Jerusalem, was ordered to the Zionist Executive by Mr. Keith-Roach, director of the Antiquities Department of the Palestine Government.
Mr. Keith-Roach called on Mr. Harry Sacher, member of the Zionist Executive in Jerusalem, and explained that the wall had been destroyed at his order because it was rainshaken. The wall is to be rebuilt, he added.
