Kishineff Rabbi Put on the Government’s List for Election to Senate

Rabbi M. Zirelsohn, chief rabbi of Kishineff and former member of the Roumanian parliament, was placed on the government list as candidate for election to the Roumanian Senate, in accordance with telegraphic instructions issued by Prime Minister General Averescu.

There is no Jewish candidate on the government list for parliamentary election in Bessarabia.

All Roumanian students who participated in the anti-Semitic disturbances and were excluded from the universities, were reinstated in their previous status.
