Philip M. Klutznick, international president of B’nai B’rith, who is a member of the American delegation to the General Assembly, has been assigned by the delegation to represent the United States on the 82-member Legal Committee of the Assembly.

Among the important issues coming before that committee this year are a report by the International Law Commission, which will deal with the rights of all nations, including Israel, through international waterways; and the question of defining aggression, which will be brought to the Assembly through the report of a special committee of which Israel is a member.
