The Israel Parliament will meet in special session October 27 to elect a new president. President Itzhak Ben Zvi’s term expires December 9.
In view of Mr. Ben Zvi’s universal popularity he is expected to be re-elected. Mr. Ben Zvi is Israel’s second President. Dr. Chaim Weizmann was the first.
