Louis Greenwald, importer, of 2805 Sedgwick avenue, the Bronx, will be buried today in Maimonides Cemetery, Cypress Hills, Queens. Mr. Greenwald died last Thursday of heart disease.
Born in this city, Nov. 6, 1880, Mr. Greenwald, upon his graduation from the College of the City of New York, entered the importing business.
He served on many committees to further the friendly relations with Japan. During the war he was with the United States Secret Service.
He was past master of Palestine Lodge, 204, F. and A. M., and was grand steward of the Grand Lodge in 1915. He was a member of the Scottish Rite body, and of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of the Masonic order, and was also a member of Arysh Lodge of the Free Sons of Israel.
Surviving are his widow, Ann; two sons, Myron and Bertram; a sister, Mrs. Estelle Waterman, and two brothers, Samuel and Sidney.
