Labor Congress Urges Canadian Govt. to Make Racial Discrimination a Criminal Offense

The Canadian Congress of Labor, meeting here at its eighth annual convention, urged the government to make racial or color discrimination against any person a criminal offense. The 850 delegates attending the conference also heard R.J. Lamoreux, sub-district director of the United Steel Workers of Montreal, appeal for greater racial tolerance.
