Lady Bearsted, the former Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin, wife of Viscount Bearsted, died last night. Lord Bearsted is very ill.
More than 150 tablets were unveiled in the Israel Orphan Asylum at 274-282 Second St., N. Y. City on Sunday. These tablets bear the names of those who have endowed beds in the institution.
Judge Guslave Hattman, President of the Israel Orphan Asylum was the Master of Ceremonies. Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein, President of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, delivered the principal address.
