Lamports Give $8,100 for Hebrew U. Fund

A fund of $8,100, to be distributed among students who distinguish themselves in their work at the Hebrew University, was announced here today as having been established by the Lamport family of New York.

A rare manuscript on metaphysics, written in Yemen, on the Arabian Peninsula, in the year 1498 and believed to have been studied by Maimonides, the Jewish philosopher and physician, has been acquired by the Hebrew University Library, an announcement here states.
