Victor Larner, national executive director of the Joint Defense Appeal since 1948, died suddenly today at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He was 43 years old.
Born in St. Louis, he was active in community welfare for most of his adult life. He was educated at Washington University of St. Louis, and became associated with the New York Federation of Jewish Philanthropies in 1936.
