The memory of the late Dr. Zevi H. Chajes will be honored by the Austrian Zionist Organization which is raising a fund to plant 10,000 trees in Palestine. The plantation will be known as the Chajes Forest.
The United Palestine Appeal drive in Dallas, Texas, was launched yesterday at a banquet at the Adolphus Hotel. Mrs. Irma L. Lindheim, president of the Hadassah was the principal speaker at the banquet. Dr. Mendel Silber of New Orleans also addressed the gathering.
