A Senate Foreign Relations Committee resolution to provide economic aid to Israel which would be equal to the interest and principal Israel pays to the U.S. each year on tax debts was passed Wednesday by a vote of 9-8. All the Democrats and Republican Rudy Boschwitz of Minnesota voted for the measure which was introduced by California Democrat Alan Cranston. (See earlier story, P. I.)
