A 52-year-old Israeli, identified as Zalman Nabulnik of Hadasha, was fatally wounded in the West Bank town of El Bireh today while waiting for a bus. A Damascus-based terrorist group, the Marxist Democratic Front for the Liberation of palestine, claimed responsibility for the shooting. According to Israel Radio, Abulnik was shot in the head and died enroute to a hospital. The shooting occurred a short distance from where an Israeli soldier was killed by terrorists on February 4.
