Latin American Jews met recently to discuss how to build Jewish life among young adult Jews. More than 1,000 people attended the meeting earlier this month in Mar del Plata, Argentina. To have more than 1,000 people attend from a region with just 500,000 Jews shows the meeting’s importance, said Alejandro Kladniew, the Latin American/Caribbean director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
