Lawmakers introduced legislation to protect Americans from being denied insurance based on potential travel destinations. The bill, introduced Thursday by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) and a bipartisan group of lawmakers, stems from the congresswoman’s own inability to purchase life insurance because of potential travel to Israel.
