Leaders of various streams of Judaism are pushing congregants to focus on AIDS prevention and treatment. On World AIDS Day on Monday, Rabbi David Saperstein, director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, called on President Bush and other leaders to do more to fight AIDS, particularly in Africa, where 18 million people have died from the disease.
