League Secretary Says Commission’s Decision on Wall Will Be Favorable

–The Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, before whom the Arab-Jewish dispute over the right of access to the Wailing Wall was submitted, will find a favorable solution, declared Sir Eric Drummond, Secretary-General of the League of Nations at a reception given in his honor here last night.

Sir Eric, who is now on a goodwill tour in Poland, arrived in Cracow and was the quest of honor at a reception given by the Wojewoda, Governor, of Cracow, Among those present were the President of the Cracow Kehillah, Landau, and Dr. Osias Thon, Zionist leader and Member of Parliament, Dr. Thon welcomed the League official in behalf of the Zionists in Western Galicia.

In his reply, Sir Eric emphasized that it was the League of Nations which has given the final approval on the historic right of the Jewish people to Palestine.
