Lebanese delegates to the conference of Asiatic Socialist Parties being held here, this week-end walked out of a meeting of the body after delivering a blistering attack on the State of Israel and a personal denunciation of Israel Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett, head of the Mapai delegation to the parley. The chairman of the session apologized to the Israeli delegation for the remarks of the Lebanese delegation.

Last night, Mr. Sharett addressed a mass meeting held here in connection with the parley. He told the 25,000 people in the audience that Israel has “recaptured its old place in its Asian homeland.” Earlier, Mr. Sharett had been elected to the most important conference committee, the one assigned the task of drafting a program for Asian and world peace.
