Lehman Gives $5,000 to Aid Clarke Bank Victims

A contribution of $5,000 by Lieutenant-Governor Herbert H. Lehman was reported by Manny Strauss to United States Attorney Tuttle. Lieutenant-Governor Lehman is a member of the Committee that was organized by Mr. Strauss to aid the depositors of the Clarke Brothers private banking house which failed for $5,000,000.

Mr. Tuttle also announced that the Independent Order B’rith Abraham, through its grand-master. Nathan D. Perlman, has volunteered to take part in the relief work.
