Mr. Leonard Stein, formerly Political Secretary of the World Zionist Organisation and the Honorary Counsel of the Jewish Agency, has been re-elected as Honorary Counsel of the Jewish Agency Council.
Mr. Stein has played a very important role at the Seventeenth Zionist Congress in Basle as intermediary between the Weizmann group and the anti-Weizmann group. Although no longer officially the Political Secretary of the World Zionist Organisation, he nevertheless has played a prominent role during the negotiations between the Jewish Agency and the Government as political advisor and as the author of a number of Zionist memoranda.
