Premier Jonas Cernius and Minister of Interior Kazys Skucas today promised a Jewish delegation from Wilno that any further anti-Semitic disorders in the city newly ceded by Soviet Russia would be firmly suppressed, hooligans would be court-martial led and police would be ordered to cooperate with the Jews.
