Lithuanian Government to Meet Jews’ Demands

The political differences between the present Lithuanian government and the Club of Jewish Deputies are to be ironed out shortly, it was declared here today.

It is expected that a special rapporteur for the affairs of the Jewish schools will be appointed in the Lithuanian Ministry of Education. It was also intimated that the government is willing to support an amendment to the Compulsory Sunday Rest Law. In this case the Club of Jewish Deputies would lend its support to the present government.
