Berl Locker, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive in Jerusalem, has arrived here to consult with the American members of the executive on the conflict within the United Palestine Appeal which led to the recent resignation of Henry Montor from his post as U.P.A. executive director. It is understood that a new executive director to replace Montor was appointed this week and that his name will be made public shortly.

Meanwhile, five officials of the U.P.A. last night announced their resignation declaring that they have watched “with apprehension” the growing rift within the organization. The five are: Harry Seave, administrator; Dr. Martin Rosenbluth, director of information; Ellis Radinsky, director of community contacts; Dr. George Stafansky, director of research; and Sidney S. Green, comptroller.
