A grave situation has arisen as a result of the dangers from the locust plague. The huge army of locusts has crossed the Dead Sea and is passing the Suez Canal on its way to the Eastern provinces. Airplanes will not be used in fighting the locusts but patrols in cars with flame throwers will be used as the chief weapons. These are to be supplemented by frontiersmen, camel drivers, laborers and rewards to bedouins.
