The City Council of Lodz, Poland, has voted to rename one of the city’s avenues, Pepper Street, to Berlinski Street, according to a dispatch from Warsaw received here today. The new name honors Hirsch Berlinski, one of the fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto, who was a native of Lodz.
