No improvement was reported today in the condition of Lord Melchett, prominent Jewish leader and industrialist, who is now seriously ill with phlebitis.
Lord Melchett is under the attendance of Sir Russell Wilkinson, but other physicians were called in today for consultation. No bulletin was issued today. It was however stated that Lord Melchett’s condition continues to be critical.
