A Jewish meeting to raise money to give aid to a church which was in financial difficulties was held here.
A mass meeting was held at the Wilshire Boulevard Congregational Church with Rabbi Edgar F. Magnin as chairman. Rabbis Trattner, Winkler and Dubin were the speakers.
A considerable sum was collected and more added through a letter of appeal sent out by Rabbi Magnin.
Dr. Dyer, pastor of the church, voiced appreciation of the expression of good-will on the part of the Jewish community. Other groups are coming to the aid of the church.
