Louis E. Spiegler, attorney and communal leader of Washington, D.C., has been appointed as General Counsel and representative of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society, in the nation’s capital, where the Society maintains a special office dealing with cases affecting the welfare of Jewish immigrants and refugees. Announcement of the appointment was made today by Abraham Herman, President of HIAS.
