President Zalman Shazar and Nobel Prizewinner Shmuel Yosef Agnon were among the first dignitaries to visit the Lubavitcher book exhibit at the Jerusalem Book Fair currently taking place here. The Lubavitcher exhibit is being sponsored by Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, the educational arm of the Lubavitcher movement, and by the Lubavitch Youth Organization. Hundreds of Merkos books and publications in ten languages and published in eight countries are being shown at the exposition.
