Never before has it been as difficult to be a rabbi as in these times of radical changes, Dr. Alexander Lyons of Congregation Beth Elohim, Brooklyn, declared in his baccalaureate address to the sixteen young men who yesterday were ordained rabbis at the Hebrew Union College commencement exercises here.
Rabbi Theodore N. Lewis of Sioux City, Iowa, received the degree of Doctor of Divinity. The following graduates were ordained by Dr. Julian Morgenstern, president of the college:

The invocation was pronounced by Rabbi Lewis, and the benediction by Rabbi Phineas Smoller of Springfield, O. Greetings were brought to the graduates by Alfred M. Cohen, chairman of the board of governors
