While Jewish sports organizations from all over the world are sending their delegations to participate in the Maccabiad, the Jewish Olympiad which opens in Tel Aviv on April 2, it is not known as yet whether the Hapoel, or Palestine Labo### sports organization, will participate. There is considerable friction between the Hapoel and the Maccabi.
“It will be a great mistake ### the Hapoel does not participate ### the Maccabiad,” Colonel Kisch stated here during a press conference.
The administration of the Maccabiad has spent $30,000 to improve the stadium in Tel Aviv in which the games are to take place.
