Sir Harold MacMichael, who becomes High Commissioner for Palestine at the end of February, will insist on a drastic purge of the Palestine administration, The Star reported today. Sir Harold insists on substitution of administrators of proved strength for those whose failure to enforce order has been condemned by the Peel royal Commission, the report said. Sir Harold, who is now Governor of Tanganyika, is shortly leaving Kenya for London, it was stated.
