Mahmoud Abbas said the Palestinian Authority has disarmed gunmen in two West Bank cities under his control. Briefing Israeli reporters at his headquarters Tuesday, the P.A. president said terrorist fugitives in Tulkarm and Jericho, where the Palestinian Authority resumed security control earlier this year, have been incorporated into P.A. security forces after they gave up their weapons.
