A report received here today from Denmark stated that mass-arrests of Jews have started there under pressure of the Nazi authorities and despite protests by the Danish population.

The report added that despite the opposition of the King, the pro-Nazi Premier of Denmark, Eric Scavenius, is now engaged in drafting anti-Jewish laws to over the approximately 6,000 Danish Jews. The new Nazi envoy in Denmark who is one of Hitler’s most trusted representatives, is “advising” Premier Scavenius on the draft of the new measures, the report said.
