A mass celebration in honor of Maimonides was held at the People’s Playhouse here.
The celebration was the culmination of a series of lectures on Maimonides.
The program consisted of a symposium in which Prof. Edward Leroy Schaub of Northwestern University spoke on the background of Maimonides. Other speakers were Dr. A. B. Levinson, Dr. Meyer Waxman and Dr. Felix A. Levy.
