Maurice Wertheim, Jewish communal leader and noted philanthropist, who died last month, left over $250,000 in various bequests, including $100,000 to the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies in New York and $50,000 to Mount Sinai Hospital of New York, Mr. Wertheim left a private art collection of French masters of the 19th and 20th centuries to the Fogg Art Museum at harvard University.
