Max J. Rubin Named President of New York’s Board of Education

Max J.Rubin, a New York attorney born on the lower East Side, and one of three Jews on New York City’s new Board of Education, was appointed by Mayor Robert F. Wagner as president of the Board. He is the only member of the Board named by the Mayor to a full, seven-year term.
