Maxa Nordau to Arrive February 9

Judge David A. Louris was re-elected president of the Home for Jewish Children in Boston. Mass, at the annual meeting of the Board Joseph Rodrick was chosen vice-president; Morris Morse. second vice-president; Casper Grosberg. recording secretary; Hymam Phillips, treasurer; and Mrs. Coleman Levia, assistant treasurer.

A committee of distinguished men and women will sponsor the art exhibit in this country of MIle. Maxa Nordau, the French artist and daughter of the late Dr. Max Nordau, who will arrive in the United States on February 9. Various art critics have been enthusiastic in their praise of MIle Nordau’s ability, and Mr. George S. Hellman has undertaken to arrange an exhibit in the New Gallery of MIle. Nordan’s art work which includes paintings, etchings, woodwork and sculpture.

The special committee sponsoring the exhibit includes Alexander M. Bing, Alfred M. Cohen, Abram Elkus, Lee K. Frankel, A. J. Freiman, Morris Gest, George S. Hellman, Mrs. Julius Kahn, Mrs. Alexander Kohut, Mrs Sam S. Lewisohn, Albert D. Lasker. Adolph Lewisohn, Horace B. Liveright, Mrs. Clarence Mack, Wm. B. McCormick, Mrs. Charles Cary Rumsey, Thomas Seltzer, John Smertenko, Clifford Smyth, Mrs Estelle Sternberger, James N. Rosenberg, and Sarnuel Untermyer.
