any way with any organization motivated by anti-religious or anti-racial views,” Comptroller McGoldrick said. “I am informed by Major Prout that the organization which has offered him its leadership, the socalled ‘American Concentration, Inc.,’ is solely interested, so far as he understands it, in opposing Communism in this country, and that it has no racial or religious bias.

“Major Prout assures me that if he finds that he has been misled he will disassociate himself entirely from that organization.

“I am having an inquiry made into this organization, and I have asked Major Prout to make a separate inquiry of his own to satisfy himself, and when my inquiry is completed I shall take appropriate action and publish the results.”
