Mayor elect Teddy Kollek of Jerusalem had a 20minute talk today with Mayor-elect John Lindsay of New York at Mr. Lindsay’s invitation and the two men subsequently joined in a press conference.
Mr. Lindsay recalled that, on a visit to Israel recently he had met Mr. Kollek when the latter was director-general of the Prime Minister’s office. The New York mayor-elect told press he and Mr. Kollek had agreed to keep in touch by letter on their experiences as mayors next year.
