A memorial meeting honoring the late Dr. Emil Sommerstein, former member of the Polish Parliament and leader of the Zionist movement in pre-Nazi Poland, was held here tonight at Herzl Instute. Principal speakers included Dr. Itzhak Schwarzbart, leader of the World Jewish Congress, Dr. Itzhak Levin, leader of Agudas Israel, and Judge Maximilian Friede, prominent leader of Polish Jewry who is now president of the Club of Polish Jews in New York. Dr. Sommerstein died here last month.
