Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Abba Eban, and Mrs. Rose Halprin, Acting Chairman of the Jewish Agency executive in New York, paid tribute to the memory of the late Joseph Sprinzak at a meeting yesterday at the offices of the Israel Consulate General in New York.
The speakers expressed the profound sorrow of Jewish communities throughout the world at the loss of one of the outstanding Israel leaders. ” Israel’s Consul General, Simcha Pratt, presided. Taking part also were members of the Jewish Agency executive in New York, the executive of the Zionist Actions Committee and the American Zionist Council, as well as executives of other Zionist groups, members of the Israel mission to the United Nations and the staff of the Consulate General in New York.
