Yehudi Menuhin, 18-year-old American-Jewish violin virtuoso who has just returned from a triumphant concert tour of South Africa, declared at a press interview today that he was retiring from the concert stage for two years.
His retirement, he explained, is for the purpose of “broa### and deepening” his musical powers.
Menuhin’s final appearance before his retirement will be in ### city on January 14, 1936, he announced.
