Metullah Shelled; Israeli Army Position Fired On; Jordan Army Hits Terrorists

Several bazooka shells were fired at Metullah in Upper Galilee from Lebanese territory this morning but caused no casualties or damage. The fire was returned. An Israeli was injured yesterday when his tractor hit a mine on a dirt road near Bet Joubrin. Shells were fired from Syrian lines yesterday at an Israeli Army position in the Butamiyah area of the Golan Heights. There were no casualties. Jordanian Army units shelled terrorist concentrations in the Irbid area of northern Jordan yesterday. Israeli settlers near the border reported hearing artillery fire from the region.
